I have never read the book. But what they are saying is what I have usually tried to follow. If the tires are checked and kept at a consistent pressure, checked for wear due to misalignment and any misalignment corrected? Then there should be no need to even out the wear or rotate the tires. They will be past their use by date before they wear out. We newell owners very rarely spin our wheels when setting off from a standing start.

I'm thinking about putting in either posi-track or a limited slip rear end to keep from smoking the right rears when I'm in a hurry
