On mine, with the receiver that came from Newell, there was an auxiliary 115vac output that turned on when the receiver was turned on. They simply wired a plug onto the coil wires of a 115vac relay and plugged it in - worked like a charm. Well, that is until I had to change the receiver to something more modern and neglected to get one with an auxiliary 115vac output. I bought a switch with a remote control ( IR ) and I just turn it on and off as necessary to switch the speakers now.
