Default Locking Differentials

I notice the late model Newells have a driver-operated locking differential. Great idea, another Newell innovation. I get my coach stuck now and then. Is it possible to retrofit to older axles? Who manufactures the unit? [Editor's note: the driver operated locking differential was standard on coaches beginning in the early 90s. Beginning with the new ZF axles and suspension system fitted to coaches beginning with deliveries this past summer, an electronic traction control is incorporated for the same purpose. Unfortunately, retrofitting either system is probably cost prohibitive because an entire axle assembly would be required.]
