Sorry it has taken so long to respond; we are fine. We evacuated to Shreveport in the Newell. We stayed at my brother-in-law's place; had 50 amp service, water, sewer, and plenty of family around to make it almost a reunion.

Houma took a direct hit from Gustav and much of the low lying areas were hit with flooding but the new levee systems held fairly well and many other homes that flooded in the past were spared. I personally only sustained a little roof damage but no flooding.

Thanks for all of the kind concern. It sure was nice to have a Newell to serve as our home during the storms.
