Gordon,
I believe that you are correct, they look to be the same basic dimensions. We have a Newport that we have used for about 7 years that has been a great little BBQ. I installed the mounts into the railing of our deck so that it can come inside when it starts snowing up here.
Since we were going to be Dry Camping at the last outing I purchased another Newport for the Coach. We then went to COSTCO and got a couple bags of frozen Sirloin Burgers, they go on the Grill while still frozen! The Newport could do about 4 Burgers and was able to keep up with 15 family members.
