Re: roof coat...IMHO good ole shiny paint is the best choice for the roof. Our last travel trailer had a "rubber roof". It seemed to be textured just enough that fine dirt/dust would collect over time and then a small amount of rain would result in those dreaded "black streaks" down the side of the trailer. Both of my Newells have been paint. I'm curious if they are putting something else on the newer ones.
