I believe Newell's with aluminum wheels ran 11R 22.5's from the late 70's up to the early to mid 80's. I had a '76 with stock 20" split rims, a '78 with 22.5 aluminum's and '86 with aluminum 24.5's.

I know the 11R's are a much better price than the metric sizes.
