Perfect! That was a very simple way to get the charging system back up and functional.
If you have a Power Inverter / Charger you may be advised to not have both the Alternator and a Battery Charger working at the same time. I think that is why I must choose between the two, but I also have SOLAR Panels and I feel that is a good idea to keep the charging sources isolated.
