Had an RO system installed last week. It has a 1-1 ratio...for every gallon of purified water there is a gallon of waste. We just have to check the gray tank a little more often, but it is so nice not having to manually purify water anymore. We included in the package a 4 watt UV light to kill any bugs that get through (makes a nice night light under the sink...haha!). We had it professionally installed, so there was a labor charge. We have a 1.5 gallon resevoir tank. We've been using Kool Filtration for about 24 years to service our system in our home.
