I was not clear when I described the problem. The engine will crank wih the ignition key but it will not start unless the rear start switch is on. My diesel mechanic says there is wire on the fuel pump to turn on and off the fuel that is requiring both switches to be on to turn on the fuel. When we return home the ocach is going in and have this problem fixed. Thanks for everyone interest and help.
