Connected in this manner, if the shore power provided is the RV standard 4-wire 220 volt/50 amp service, the dryer, as well as the 220 volt cooktop, if so equiped, receives 220 volts. If the electrical service available is 3-wire, 30 amp (or less), a second shore line connection must be available and used, and this service must be 180 degrees "out of phase" in order for have 220 volts. The on-board generator always supplies 220 volt power.
