Default Interstate Speeds

Hello Everyone:

Wondering what speed you normally run at going down the interstate and how fast you've taken your coach? Thanks in advance.

I used to drive 62-65 but since I'm retired and in no hurry I usually drive 57.
The fastest I've gone is about 85 on a long gradual downhill run not watching my speed. I've since set an alarm on my VMSPC for 70.
Wasn't even aware I was going that fast until I looked at the speedo!

I feel most comfortable at 62 (57 in California) and 65 on a flat good highway.

I would run 55mph. I'd take all day to get anywhere @ 55mph but since I was not in a hurry I never worried about it.

I am comfortable at 75 the only problem is that the fuel tank gets empty fairly quick

Usually I set the cruise control at 70. If I am in a hurry I go 75

If the speed limit allows, I run about 68, maybe 69. Don't like to overrun my tires.
