New Paint
I am interested in gettin my 1983 Newell painted. Currently, it still has the original factory paint job.
I would prefer a Newell factory job, but I am not sure I can justify their estimated price.
Does any have any words of wisdom on this subject?

I see you are from Santa Barbara. Check with Custom Paint Designs. I understand they do a really good job and are located in Chino Ca. I don't personally know anyone who has used them but I talked to them once and was impressed. My brother in law was looking into getting his coach painted a couple of years ago and he checked a lot of places and was going to have them paint his til he decided to buy a new coach instead. Good Luck.

Art,
We are going to have our '73 painted in the fall. Will start getting estimates for local 'big-truck' painters soon. Any pointers? The Newell is in good shape and has been repainted one time. I would like to get an old color scheme, yet thought of going aluminum skin silver (like an Airstream) with accent stripes of color. I hope your paint job comes out nice.
