Doorbell maybe?? 1985 40'
I removed a spacemaker coffee pot that was installed next to my front door above the kitchen cabinets directly above my replaced nutone food unit. Behind it is a round hole with three wires, black, white and green. They appear to be 12V. My little tester lights up with the black and white or the black and green. Does anyone know what this was at one time?

Could be wiring for a door bell. Most Newells have them. Mine has a functioning one at this time. My grandkids get a kick out of it, and always ring before entering, so that's a good thing...haha!

Typically the security system wiring is on the passenger side of the coach just to the rear of the door. If that is the location of your wiring, that would be my first guess although mine, and I suspect most, only have two wires (green and red) to the internal switch. My doorbell is part of the intercom system so it goes through the same locations as the intercom phones.

Switch Location
It is on the passenger side to the rear right after the door. Since the doorbell doesn't work and there does not seem to be a chime set anywhere this is my first gues. The wires appear to be hot all the time. I think I will see if just the green and red one light up my tester when I ring the bell.
I just like to know what is what and where it goes. I think it is a Newell Classic owner trait.

I did discover it is 110 by holding the black wire and touching the door frame. I used my meter later to confirm. I will probably just put a wall sconce.
Thanks for everyone's help!

I would have at least had someone else hold the black wire and touch the door frame.
