Default Cracked window replacement question.

I have a glass broken in my entry door and not sure how it happened. I was thinking of removing the window assembly and taking it down to a glass shop for replacement of the sliding glass piece. Anyone ever had a piece like this replaced and can suggest a best way of accomplishing this would be greatly appreciated.

Probably not a hard job. You might call peninsular windows. I believe they built those windows.
