I used to do that but my air pressure has to be just right. If I have too much the door makes a weird clank noise when I close it and too little it slides while driving causing a another noise. If I leave open they never make any sound while driving.

Cheers,

Bill

I have no problems open or closed. You can adjust the air pressure on them to make them slower or faste and hold in place better. The rule is 7 seconds time to open or close is quietest and best performance. For the center door the cylinder is up to the right above the washer/dryer behind the laminate panel and you will see the pin adjusters for in and out on the cylinder. The one to the bathroom is a bit more difficult to access and would advise asking Newell on what has to be removed to get at it.
