Default Vintage Newell

Hello everyone, I'm Corey, and new to the world of Newell coaches. I recently purchased a 1969 30 foot coach. I was told it was owned by a man with the last name of Shelton who was a horse trainer, and he trained the horses for the movie Ben Hur. I was also told that this coach had a horse trailer that was used often behind it and it was painted to match the coach. Has anyone got any info on this coach? I added a picture for your viewing pleasure. I cannot wait for it to warm up so I can work on it and get out and enjoy it. Drop me a line if you know anything about it or where I might be able to learn more about it. Thank you.

Welcome Corey. Your Newell looks like a 1969 model that was listed on Indianapolis Craigslist last summer with 85,000 miles, Ford V8, Allison 6 speed, a Kohler Generator and twin beds. Is that the same one?

Default 1969 Newell coach

Hey guys I bought a 1969 Newell coach back in 2017, and I have been doing some work on it ever since. Do anyone out there still have one that I can load you up with questions about it? I drove it like 4 times but still is unsure about some things.
