Default The Land. The Lake. The Luxury. The Worlds First Amphibious Motor Coach Land Yacht

You often see them, those huge, 30 foot RVs towing a motorboat behind them as they’re off for a vacation of boating. It’s quite a convoy. But what if you could leave the boat at home and still enjoy a cruise on the waterways as well as the highways? Well, now it’s possible. The C.A.M.I.L.C Terra Wind is the world’s first luxury amphibious motorcoach. At a stock length of 42’6” and 8 feet 6 inches wide, the Terra Wind RV is designed around a marine grade fiberglass hull of plywood reinforced fiberglass and marine grade structural members. There’s also a retractible deck for lounging, fishing, swimming and diving.

The Terra Wind is powered by a Caterpillar 3126E turbocharged engine which can also power it’s two 19″ bronze propellers with stainless rudders. To make the transition from terra to aqua, you simply place the auto transmission into neutral and shift the marine transmission into gear. And suddenly, you have a houseboat. Top speed is 85 miles an hour on land and up to 7 knots on the water. And with room slides in the out position, they can become outrigger pontoons to keep the boat level in as much as a 3 foot wave or wake. She is designed solely for travel on lakes, bays, rivers, and sounds and is not designed to be an ocean going vessel.

The Terra Wind is a first class motor coach that is as comfortable on the lake as it is on the land with a highway speed of up to 80 mph and up to 7 knots on the water.
