Default What's Cooking With 'Glide-Outs'

«~» Once more, 'My Crystal Ball' illustrated something quite out of the ordinary.
»»»»»»»» 'NewellClassic.com' «««««««« ~ »»»»»»»» 'NewellClassic.com' ««««««««
«~» 'Something Extraordinary!' Something to do with 'Glide-outs!'
«~» Yes, it's a Newell Coach with a 'Full-Wall Glide-Out!' Ho . . . WwooowW !
HUuummmm !
«~» For a moment I even taught I saw not 'One' but 'Two Full-Wall Glide-Outs!'
«~» Yes, 'Two Full-Wall Glide-Outs' and they were on the same 'Coach' a Newell Coach that is ! ! !

«~» Is 'Valid Manufacturing Cooking' with 'Newell Coach' or 'Someone Else' on something similar ?
«~» Because 'This Gizmo Ball of Mine' is usually on the money ! ? !

After all, Smaller RV Manufacturers have already a kind of 'Tiny, Small, Half-Full, No Depth called
'Full-Wall Slide-Out!'

So, when are we expecting to see the first 'Complete Wall Glide-Out' or even 'Two Complete Wall
Glide-Outs' on a Newell Coach ?

Default Full Wall Glide Outs

Full wall glide-outs obviously present very attractive benefits. However, they also present some significant structural issues. Those that have been introduced so far appear to be very limited in depth, with none we have seen being built with the 24" and 30" depths used by Newell. Even when limited in depth, we hear a lot on anecdotal stuff that full wall slides have been quite "problematical" in actual use.

The true inside dope: We have discussed full wall slide outs with Valid, talked about the advantages and the challenges, and have not as of yet decided we are ready to press forward with development. Not ready for prime time and it is not on the near-term horizon.

Karl B, thanks for this trustworthy info.
Very glad to learn that there might be such a future for full wall glide-outs.
Valid and Newell have developed unmatched manufacturing standards and for
certain when ready, it' ill be the talk of the town!
