Default hard to open sliding windows on newell classic coach

The sliding windows on my newell classic are a real pain to get open. Is there any kind of lubricant you can use for this that won't create a mess?

Try a heavy duty silicone multi-use spray lubricant. Stops sticking, binding, squeaking on nylon, rubber, metal and non-metal surfaces.

Hi, just a suggestion, but how about one of those steam blasters, the kind they use for cleaning tile grout etc. I have never tried one but they look like they would work pretty good for nooks and crannys, if you were to clean the grooves and weather strip out first then like Jon suggested use a dry silicone lubricant those windows would probably almost open themselves.

A dry silicone spray lube can help. Make sure you get a dry one, if it sprays on your fingers and doesn't dry to a slick powder in a few seconds it will likely attract dust.

let me say that it is also a good practice to clean your window channels frequently and when your finished doing this use a silicone spray.

Thanks for the tips. The silicone worked great!
