Default Skylight covers

Hi all,

i have three skylights in my coach. it gives lots of light so i like them alot. they do not leak and are easy to open. having said that, i live in arizona where the fading qualities of the harsh summer sun are high. i have the original skylight covers made out of vinyl, but they are held in with velcro and in the intense heat the adhesive on the velcro comes off.

so, my wife made me these sky light covers. they are made from a white marine grade canvas and for the reflective side they are cut from an auto windshield sun screen. she used a high quality high density upholstery foam and the cover has velcro on all sides to make it easy to take off the foam and clean. the indentations on the reflective side are where she shaved some of the foam off to make room for the hinges and latch of the skylight. they hold in place by sheer compression friction.

later

tom

Excellent Tom,,,,And they can double as seat cushions that would keep your BUM warm at a foot-ball game!
Thanks for sharing,
Dean
