Just call and talk to

Priced at $ 169,500 doesn't seem like to bad of a deal. I have seen this coach in person and it is pretty nice. 115,000 miles and clean.

This coach was probably overpriced for the longest time at about double the current asking price and now reality must have set in.

It's currently at Dubuque Auto Plaza there in Dubuque, Iowa. It is a pretty descent coach and at that money interest might be peaked again. I would rather get it for $135,000. The prices on these baby's just keep dropping like a box of rocks.

The prices on used Newell's in excellent condition is actually going up and not "dropping like rocks". There has been a steady increase in demand and higher prices for pristine coaches for sale. Most of the classifieds I have reviewed have high mileage wear and tear and poor paint condition from what I have discovered when making inquiries. I know of 3 coaches, a 2003 a 2004 and 2000 that all sold for almost asking price. I was told that the 2004 , 4 slide sold for $410k and the 2003 for $325k both in the past month and both in Florida

Larry, I think you are right for Newell's selling in the last few months. I know of quite a few Newell's that have sold in just the last month alone. The Tampa show had some to do with it. This site has a lot to do with it. In fact buyer inquiries through this website are trending from 3-5 a week to up to 8 now. And, I will make it very clear, we have never gotten anything for this service. We forward people either to the owner, Newell or a couple of trusted dealers.

Newell pricing has increased from what the trend had been since about 2007. As long as the powers that be slowly condition us with ratcheting fuel prices, that will be little affect toward purchase of these luxury items. With Newell keeping tabs and a watchful eye on the economy, and only manufacturing a handful per year, you can probably bank on the probability of prices holding or increasing.

I can only see one negative, unless this too changes, is the current tax code disallowing the write-offs of RV's as a second home.

I think the tax aspects of a coach as a second home in not of significance. The only thing that one can deduct is the first year sales tax and the annual interest, unless the coach in used in business. I have no specific knowledge, but I suspect financing of Newells is the exception rather than the rule.

Nice coach and the prices sounds like a good buy for someone.
