Default Lost Dutchman State Park AZ

we are headed out to lost dutchman state park in apache junction with the bus in a few minutes. we throw some things inside and grab a neighbor and go out to bbq and watch the stars. a whopping 17 miles, but its better than nothing.

i even have my newell cap on that jim ellis gave me!

love to drive the newell even if it is only for 30 minutes each way.

happy monday!

tom

we took our neighbors out to the lost dutchman. we were about the only ones there and took up one entire parking lot to park the newell and bbq and then spend several hours staring at the city lights and stars. it was awesome.

i even backed into the driveway at night by myself and nailed it the first time.

later

Howdy,

An interesting thing from our frequent trips to lost dutchman in apache junction. darlene and i have done it with a handful of neighbors and friends in the past few months. we go after work on monday nites and did again this last week. each time we are the only ones there in a big picnic parking area and we bbq and watch the sky and stars. this past week we had huge burgers, beans and banana splits....

the interesting thing is that the couples or families we take are so incredibly thrilled and impressed to ride in a "rock star" bus. and mine is no where near as fancy as the newer ones....it is fun to see how they are so thrilled to ride in a bus and then pull out the bbq and cook and eat.

and like i said, it gives me the chance to drive it. besides that, it is making me better at backing into my driveway.....

happy thursday

tom

Tom,
I envy that you use your coach so much and that you keep it at your house! I have to keep mine in my shop 5 miles from my home....close but not in the driveway! When we first started Rving, we felt like Rock stars, so we felt it was only appropriate to incorporate somehow on the coach!

hey, with the coach you have, it is as nice as a rock stars!

i would have never got my refurbishing done on my coach if it was not in my driveway. i am trying to remodel my cabin and since it is 125 miles away it has taken me years to get partly done.

your plate is AWESOME

mine is more geeky
