Adding led lights
In the back of the galley there was no light fixture on the ceiling so it was always dark especially in the pantry. I finally found what I was looking for: a 24" led fixture that I mounted crossways between the 2 metal trim strips. I found it at superbrightleds.com and they come in different lengths. I ran a wire along the trim strip inside a plastic wire track from Lowe's then tied into the switch for the existing ceiling lights.
I also added a motion activated stair light outside by the door. This has 3 c-cells and has a glow feature and is supposed to last for over a year with alkaline batteries. Works pretty good and I used industrial velcro to attach it so that I can remove it when we travel.
