Corian counter tops or Granite counter tops in your coach? What do you have?, what do you prefer and why?

If weight is no issue than Granite, Marble's, Slate or hey what about Soapstone for a change. Corian or any of the other 40 brands of solid surface are great but after being introduced to the man made substance over 20 years ago, I am kind of tired of the stuff. The natural substances never seem to get as tiring to me. Another cool idea could be wrapped edge stainless like in the Eagle Coach I posted a bunch of pictures over at this link HERE: http://www.luxurycoachlifestyle.com/...omization.html scroll down to the finished kitchen pictures.

That's beautiful work, express1, did you do that yourself?, if so, how did you glue down the veneer, and what did you use of the substrate?

2.25" thick one piece. Also had sink inserts made round to fit flush with top.

We currently have Corian counters and would be fine with the option on our next coach, but would like to try something different if the opportunity presents itself to us. I'm curious as to what the soapstone mentioned in a previous post actually looks like? Does it weight about the same as granite?
My wife really digs the redwood table as well.
