genny oil pressure gauge
hi all,
tonite i was working out in the coach and i had the genny running to power the aircon's. it was 105 today here.
i was putting led's in the ceiling halogen fixtures and to make them fit i had to take them out of the ceiling and take part of the fixture out. and about 2/3's of them i had to switch the wires to get the right polarity for the leds to work. while i was rewiring them my daughter and her friend came in for a little while and then we smelled an electrical smell like something was burning. it got real strong and then faded a little bit.
as i looked around, i noticed the oil pressure gauge above the driver for the genny was displaying giberish. i smelled the gauge and it was what had burned up.
so now i have to replace it too....
tom
