Default Draining Engine Side Doors

On my 77 coach the side doors to the engine compartment has the big airfoil fins surrounded by channel steel. The bottom of the channel collects water which then drains into the engine compartment. Can those of you with this style door share with me how that bottom channel on your coach drains so that I can replicate it.

Jon, I don't know if this helps but I used to have the same problem on a '78 that had a finned stainless door replaced and had what sounds like the same problem. I don't know if when the previous owner had it changed out after the old one being damaged and the replacement was done a little different or what? I ended up drilling through hard stainless a couple of drain holes. Then I found the lowest point in the engine compartment and drilled drain holes there and never really had the problem again.
