Default Do you think an RV Resort would be worth the money $$$$

The better half and I have been looking into the possibility of buying an RV Resort space. Trying to consider any pros and cons to the ownership of one. Any owners of them around here or maybe suggestions on best areas and values to consider? We are thinking if this is a way to go that maybe to buy now if there are any concerns for prices to rise in the future?

My feelings on it are no and yes. Sorry! If I was a person whom like to stay put for long periods of time and location, location, location was a favorite area, price was right, then a profounding "Yes". Prices have fallen in half the last 3 years and may go lower or may start going back up.

With initial costs of purchasing a site in a resort you can sure stay at campgrounds all around the country many times over. I recently read that a night in a campground averages 30.00 so at that figure you would spend 10,950 dollars a year if you stopped each night at campgrounds. You can do a lot of traveling for the cost of a rv lot in my opinion of course.

Check out these current prices at blue water key resort for a lot.

Bluewater Key: Premium RV lots for sale!

Read this:

Bluewater Key RV Resort is an RV ownership park. All sites are individually owned and all owners are members of the Resort Association. The operation of the resort is overseen by an elected Board of Directors and Resort Manager. Please contact the office for further information on site ownership and the benefits of our rental program.

I am not retired so I think that the Motorcoach is meant to move and not stay in one place much more than a week or so,it also seems like that spaces are for rent in almost any resort.

We bought our coach so we could roll down the road. In my opinion who wants to pay that for a lot?

We bought a lot very cheap in ORA in PSL Florida and we had been renters for years. Everything is a matter of price and it offers a few benefits like fixing up the lot the way you want it and the many friends you make with other owners. We were committed to staying renters until the economy took it's toll and created opportunity.

If you can get a good deal like Larry and Hedy it's great for those who are retired.
