Default Solar Charger Inverter & Battery Question

Our solar charger shows we are fully charged by about noon everyday but when we check the batteries they are down quite a bit. When we have the inverter on at night and the power is drawn down, as soon as we turn the inverter off it pops up again about 4 points. Is this normal ?

How old are your batteries?
When the solar controller switches to float (should be when batteries are almost full) what is the battery voltage?
What all is being run by the inverter at night?
What year coach?

If you are plugged into shore power, the converter often fools the solar charger into thinking the batteries are fully charged when they're not.

If you are not plugged into shore power, my guess is that your batteries have been chronically undercharged and now only exhibit a fraction of their original capacity. Check your water level.

Either that, or you have a moderate but apparently hidden load on your inverter.

Thanks Joseph we will try that. We were thinking there is a hidden draw on there but can't seem to track it down. We are not on shore power and I did check the batteries and the water was right up. Thanks all your help we will let you guys know what we find.
