Default Upgrade ideas?

I am looking for some ideas or upgrades that may enhance my older coach? What have others done to make there home on wheels feel better than when they had first aquired it?

I have thought about making several changes, but don't know if it is worth it. I do realize after reading some posts from others here on Newell Classic that some things depend on if you plan on owning your coach forever. My thought is to own this coach for a couple of years and then to move up to a slightly newer Newell if all goes ok and I still like owning a Newell. I do expect to have repairs done on this age of a coach. I would like to improve some things without breaking the bank and throwing all my investment out the door.

Bro. Dilly,
«~» For 'Upgrading the Interior' of your '1978 Newell Classic,' you've got a good starting point with
'Tom's Post 'Interior Work,' by CLICKING HERE and following his progress.

«~» May be an 'Outside Refresh' or a 'Total New Color Paint Job' will do the trick, but that's Big $$$$.

Power awning is on my list. The current zip dee awning is a pain to deploy and the arms are in the way. Wish zip dee offered a conversion kit to the new style arms that raise up so we could walk under them.

Radiator fan conversion from motor driven to hydraulic is also on my list.

Added a Proheat diesel fired boiler to mine. Works well for interior heat, hot water and preheating the motor on cold mornings. I recommend this upgrade.
