I will be checking the tires for proper inflation before we leave on our trip what I wanted to know is how do I go about checking the inside rear tires? Is there a special tool for this. When I first tried to do this at a local gas station I got so frustrated I gave up. I know someone must have an answer on the easiest way to inflate the rear inside tires.
If the long metal stems were used, you should be able to reach them with a truckers dual foot tire gauge (the long one with the double sided air inputs). I have the Alcoa aluminum wheels on mine and fortunately, the inner valve stems are easily accessible on the outside rim. However, I have had RV's that required that I half crawl under the rig with a tire gauge to get a reading and add air.
