Default Looking for a super quiet 110v compressor replacement

Can anyone provide a model # for a Thomas or other top brand 110v compressor. My Thomas works fine but is getting noisier and noisier.

I have the Jun-Air 600 and it too is noisy and I plan on replacing it. I would like to know a replacement. I spoke with the Newell factory and they are using the Thomas which sounds like you may already have.

If you mount the compressor in the generator box, you can forget about noise. You will hardly hear it.

Larry, if you could provide the model/part number on your existing Thomas pump I will gladly cross-reference it in the morning when I get into my office. If you can read and write down the CFM, RPM, HP and Amp rating that would be great too.

Jack, Jun-air replacement are available from GAST whom had bought the company out a while back. The GAST pumps are usually a quieter pump than the Jun-airs. There are some other options for yours as well.

I can tell you that some people have used other types of oil-less air compressor pumps for these applications such as dental ones. Price can jump up and down the charts and depending on budget, that may end up being the rule of thumb.

You might try Zoro Tools, (Zoro Tools Industrial Supplies) they carry the Thomas brand and are substantially less expensive than Grainger.

That's a good price on that Zoro Tools site compared to Grainger. Last I checked for someone, Newell parts dept. was real close to the same price as Grainger, which isn't bad if they are installing it. For the DIY guy I like the Zoro Tools price.

Here is a link on the same model that Jon posted above over at ebay on a used one if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rietschle-Th...item589591864b

Or if someone is upgrading to a quieter model they can sell theirs.
