Default Gen hour gauge!

I have a 1988 8v92 tag Coach, need to replace the Gen hour gauge. Anyone know what type it is, AC or DC ????? Thanks

I also have an 88 and I had mine replaced at Newell about 5 years ago. They probably can tell you what the part number and you could get it anywhere.

If you can get to the terminals on the back of the guage and put a Voltmeter on them whilst the gen is running...........

Newell has been using a 12 volt source for quite some time, but can't guarantee that is what you have
