Default Yellowstone National Park Information

[TABLE="align: left"]
<tbody>[TR]
[TD="width: 100%, align: left"] We have decided to make a trip to Calif and stop at Yellowstone. Its too late to get a spot in Fishing Bridge. What campgrounds out side the park provides the best access to the sights in the park. Any advice on visiting Yellowstone would be appreciated.

It's been a few years since when we were there and stayed at Fishing Bridge. At that time it was the only campground in the park with hook ups.

There is no scenery at the fishing Bridge campground. it's almost like a parking lot. If you have a good generator and batteries I would now prefer the outer campgrounds. a lot more rustic, like the park.

You should call ahead for reservations to be sure.

Be sure to eat at the Yellowsone Lodge, it's a real treat.

Chester is right, West Yellowstone would be a nice option. When were you planning on going through the area? Fishing Bridge must really book out fast now days. Are they already booked solid for the whole year or the time you are going through?
