Can you install? (is one) a smart steering wheel available for 96?
or just one more comfortable to drive with?

While I suspect that a Smart Steering Wheel could be installed, I would suspect it would be fairly expensive to rewire the coach for the Smart Wheel.

Hi Matt,

Yes you could install one. I had one on another coach, and I REALLY liked it. The Smart wheel has a control box that would have to be wired into the existing circuitry as Michael said. It would be fairly straitforward since all the wiring is clearly marked in the front kick well that you would need to access. That's the good news.

The bad news is the Smart wheel control box is fairly large and there is NO place for it in the front console where it would be convenient. You would have to extend each and every wire in the front kickwell...turn signals, lights, cruise, and wipers to where the box would be mounted. That would be a PITA.

It could be done with enough patience or plastic (credit card)
