Default Outside skin of slide pulling away

One of the quad slides I have looked at has the outside skin of the slide pulling away just a little. When the slide is out, on one of the lower corners, the outside flat surface has pulled away from the silicone about 1/4 inch. It's right where the silicone goes over the joint seam. Is this a big issue?? How would you ever pull it up flush again?

Jimmy, That is a known problem that Newell Coach has yet to address.

Hey Jimmy, is it an open gap that has allowed dirt to get into it? Recently I have been hearing similar issues cropping up by some owners. I went and looked at an '07 with some folks and there were problems on the upper corners on the main body over the slides. It ended up being a huge turn off for them. They are still in the hunt for a coach three or four slides but it may be another make. It can definitely be addressed but the question would be at what cost? Who's doing it and so on....

What's crazy is that I have noticed it more on the quad-slides than I have on the duals that I have been checking out for myself.

Yes it's an open gap. You could silicone it but the gap would still be there. I'm not sure how you could pull the flat outside skin back flush to the curved part of the slide. And what's to keep the flat outside surface from pulling apart even more?
