Default Golden Village RV Park

When we visited with Steve and Tricia Wade a few weeks ago we decided to return this weekend in our Newell to spend the weekend with them, and let them see our baby. Golden Village RV Park is located in Hemet, CA 3600 Florida Ave. It is a large park of about 1000 spaces ranging from Standard to Deluxe sites. There is a mix of permanent units, snow birds, and weekenders (such as ourselves). There are three pools and three jacuzzis, a shuffle board pavillon (a weekend tournament was on this weekend with a serious shuffle board crowd in attendance), gym, putting green, etc. The lady who completed our reservation then led us in a golf cart to our site...very nice touch. We were able to snag a spot two sites up from the Wades coach. When we arrived Steve was in Dana Point completing a couple of yacht surveys, and Tricia was finishing an exercise period in one of the heated pools (they must be somewhere in the mid 80's temp wise). Steve arrived after battling Friday afternoon traffic for a few hours with fresh swordfish, and sockeye salmon, which he later BBQ'd after a tour of our coach. They treated us to a great meal, and we spent a couple of hours talking about cabbages and kings. On Saturday I spend a few hours working on the two folding bicycles they inherited when they purchased their coach. That afternoon we spent a couple of hours at the pool reading and dipping in one of the heated pools, and a jacuzzi. Tricia and Steve came over to our coach and we spent another couple of hours talking Newells, and future trips. Here are a few pictures....the first two are of Steve's coach, and the last one shows the positions of our two coaches in relation to each other....mine is on the left, and Steve's is on the right. We learned that the original owners of our two coaches both had the same last name...Law. Mine was purchased by Leonard Law, and Steve's was purchased by John Law....are they related....we're not sure, but what are the odds two coaches built in 1982 both had owners with the same last name who were not related? I'll post more pictures of Steve's coach inside and out tomorrow.
