Default Proper Air Bag Replacement Procedure Help

I have a couple of new air bags on the way. How are the air bags fastened and what is the best procedure for replacement? I don't want to do it twice so some early advice would be appreciated.

I would have them installed by a truck service shop that has the lifts and safety jacks to install them.

Jimmy: On my 77 coach there are two bolts into the top and bottom plates of the airbag. On the top is also the air connection. I supported the coach by blocking and jacking under the chassis at convenient the strong places. I then let the air out of the system by loosening the ends of the leveling valve rods and moving the valve arm to exhaust all the air. I unbolted the bags, slid the bag into a convenient position to disconnect the air line and then reversed this process to install the new bag. I was able to do this without removing the tires though doing so would make the job easier (other than removing the 150 pound tires and putting them back).

I replaced the 4 rear bags in about 3-1/2 hours in my driveway.

Jon,

Do you happen to have any pictures from when you changed your airbags?
