Default Check This NOW !!!! Shore Power Plug

My shore power plug was a little ratty, so I decided to replace. I fell over in mock horror when I took the top cover off. Charred plastic, corroded terminals....all obvious signs an electrical problem waiting to hit the coach.

Not too mention the impact of low or intermittent voltage on that leg.

It will take no more than five minutes to do this, but pop the cover off your 50 amp plug and make sure it's OK. OK?

And in case you've been in the 'ritas, unplug it from the pedestal ops:

this is where the electrical management system that is both a surge supressor and monitors incoming power for too high, too low etc and it will shut off power to the coach.

i had redone my plug last summer and it was not charred at all.
