I had a good friend that flew 747 freighters for a living. According to him it took at least three crammed 747's to carry the gear for the Rolling Stones world tours. Then again I recall it might be double that number. This was more than a decade ago and I have trouble remembering what I spent on diesel fuel last week - but that may be a good thing.
