Default Do you leave your compartments unlocked?

When I arrive at our campsite, I typically unlock all my storage compartments and leave them that way for the duration of our stay. I also leave out my bikes and chairs and haven't had any problems.

My question is, how risky is this? I find it more convenient to leave things unlocked than to secure everything every night.

So what have you experienced? Should I be more prudent?

I can tell you the idea makes me nervous anymore. I use to have the same habit up until I lost 3 guns tucked away in a briefcase down in a compartment. What I had

found out from the park host was a couple of kids had been seen ravaging through an RV and once spotted got away by jumping into the river the park was next to. If

they would have been caught I and others may have gotten our stolen items back. Something to think about.

Only lock when away for an overnight. Never had a problem in more than a dozen years and 250k miles.. Know your surroundings and act in accordance with your own level of comfort. I leave my door unlocked too unless leaving the park we are in... I have had my locked up bike stolen from a secure garage with armed guards on site at my condo, but never a problem in any park or coach resort

In RV parks we don't worry about keeping them locked. When traveling and parking overnight say in a rest area or truck stop we always make sure things are locked up, with the traffic of people you're better off safe than sorry!

The only time mine are locked is when we're on the road.

I never locked anything (except the entry door) at any campground. Never had a problem nor have I ever heard of a problem at any parks we have visited.

That is a very nice feature. Who makes this locking system? Nice bus by the way.

This one is a Liberty but all Prevost lock the bays when you lock the door.

Auto locking bays is a sweet set up. Is this an available feature on Prevost or an aftermarket feature?
