Have a 1974 Newell. Have Ross steering box - does anyone know

Hi Bill and welcome to NewellClassic!

I know we have a couple of members with 1974 Newells here and hope one of them will see your post soon and be able to help. I know on one of my previous Newells I had what sounds like a similar problem and it ended up being a loose mounting bolt on the steering box. Something to check if you haven't yet?

We are still in the middle of adding information from the Newell Coach "Tech Talk" archives and I will look through that information as well.
