Default Newell factory tour

Pulled in to the factory in Miami today. Took a tour of the production facility. Amazing, saw coaches in all stages of production from just the chassis to an almost finished painted coach. Just incredible the way our coaches are put together.
The new ones have Ipads for controlling all of the coach systems.
Anybody else here from the forum?

Forest, we pulled in about 7:00 pm last evening, wish I had known you were around. Dropped off the coach and head back to Tulsa ahead of the storms. Getting a patio awning installed, and a little maintance on the dash AC, and a new generator/shore line contactor installed. It's the Silver and red 96. Mike Ellis always takes great care of us in service.

We may pick it up this evening, or may wait until the weekend.

PS just noted your sig. I was showing Shirley your RZR, as we recently bought a place south of Tulsa and now need either something like a RZR or 4 wheeler, then could use the RZR when we go to bluegrass festivals, or whatever. Nice rig. Just wish we could get one street legal, so we could run to the grocery store or short jaunts. How is it on the road?

Hey Ray, what is the weather doing down there right now? We have been getting pounded with rain just up north of you in Missouri. They are forecasting for snow tonight which is beyond odd. I see another hail and tornado warning for this whole area. We had planned on being down in the area ourselves with some folks looking for a Newell but with this weather in all kind of hard to even consider looking at coaches.

Morning Ray, we saw you pull in last night. You should have come over.
We're getting ready to leave just waiting for weather to clear a bit. Going to the KOA in Wellington, KS for the night then over to Dodge City for maybe a week. Been waiting for Colorado to warm up a bit. Need to be in Denver in a couple weeks.
The RZR is great on dirt roads with the stock tires. I've had it up to 50mph and it's pretty stable. Not too sure how it would be on asphalt that fast. Only been about 30 mph on asphalt and it's fine.
I'm thinking of getting mine street legal in Arizona. They seem to be the easiest. Does Oklahoma recognize another state's license?

Forest, parts of AZ is easy but they have been getting stricter. They are pretty lax down in the Prescott Valley area where we are sitting on a couple acres that should have been sold when we had the chance. I always see street legal quads and 4x4's in the Quartzsite. Don't think we could get away with anything in the big valley though.

Ken, sorry for the late response, after the cold front passed, it pretty much cleared up, rain ending by Thursday morning, and today is bright and sunny, still pretty cool. Hope you didn't get any hail or damaging winds. A friend of mine's buddy had his roof blown off a couple of miles from us, but not sure if it was straight wind (micro-burst) or tornado.
