Default Looking for a Coach

Hello all,,
I am looking for a coach. Have boiled it down to Bluebird, Prevost or Newell. Good and bad about each.
I think my price range is going to put me in the 8v92 tho I would love a 60 series. We have looked at a lot of coaches. And have not found the right fit yet.
I have been going over the threads here learning about the Newell. What a great site with lot of info. Nice to have questions answered by real owners. I probably will have a few specific question too. Thanks to all who contribute to this site.
Hope we can find the right coach.

Default Tell me about your Newell

I don't see you Newell on the for sale pages. My wife & i are full-timers in a 1976 Newell. We'd like to upgrade. What's the price & can you send pics--or a link to an ad?

Thanks

We have been owners of a 1988 Newell Motorcoach for 16 years. We have loved every moment of our travels (170,000 miles). We built a custom grarge prior to our purchase with utilities for storage that it may always be in top condition for the next trip. Now we have decided, due to health and age (almost 80 years old) thaqt it is time sell one our treasures (1988 Newell Motorcoach). If someone out there is looking for the top of the line and well maintained RV this is your opportunity to post a bid. E-mail ttcpaint or call (817) 528-9044 for more information

Tom, your coach turned out top shelf.
How is that floor holding up? I have been off line for awhile.

Good luck in your search. We looked for a later model Newell 2000-2005 for quite some time and found our 2003 coach 646 a couple of months ago. We have had some updates and are getting a few more. We feel the quality of the original construction and the ongoing support available makes a Newell second to none. We looked at several Prevosts and could never find one in the condition worth it's price. The Bluebirds we saw didn't give us the room and interior light we wanted.

hi leroy,

your advice on how to do the granite floor was outstanding. only thing i did in addition was to use black silicone instead of grout.

i have no cracks or anything. everyone loves the floor.

thanks,

tom

Very exciting.....looking forward to seeing pictures. Does the '83 have a Detroit Diesel? How long is it? Any upgrades?
