Motor driven Fan conversion
Anyone convert their motor driven fan that pushes air thru the radiator from belt driven to hydraulic? My 1986 DD8V92 has 3 belts, all used for driving the radiator fan. I would like to convert to a hydraulic fan with variable speeds based on the motor temperature.

I have an 88 coach which had a heavy steel fan that ran continously when I got it. I changed it to an air operated fan clutch with a light weight plastic fan and it has been that way for three years now with no problems. You have to get a fan with right pitch to push enough air through the radiator.
