Thumbs up Heading down to southern cal! Then next New York!

So, those Dodgers crushed my Giants! (This is me hanging my head in shame).

Good thing I can forget about it and head out in my Newell, right?

We are planning a quick trip to southern cal to visit one of our daughters. (We're headed out tomorrow for a week) Then we plan on checking back here at home for a few days. Before we get ready to close out the summer by taking our longest trip in our Newell to date! We are making our way across country to New York to visit my wife's family. Gotta love them loud and crazy east coast Italians! No, but I really am looking forward to all that good Italian food. I swear I always feel like I'm back in my wife's hometown in Lucca, it's that darn good!

My MIL asked why we don't just fly in it's faster she insists. But I can't help but look forward to our travels knowing we can take our time stopping along the way seeing new sights. Traveling by plane - I don't do it unless it's for business. Such a hassle these days, it sure makes me appreciate the open road.

Ciao!

As a life long Southern Californian who has followed the Dodgers since they moved to L.A. in 1958 I am happy today, but offer my condolences....that was quite a shallacking.

Enjoy your cross country trip....we hope you will grace us with updates on your journey, and maybe a few pictures.
