Default Replacing Window Shades

Hello everyone,

I am currently looking to replace all of the window shades. I have been considering Hunter Douglas only turn off is their pricing.

My question is what is best. Blackout shade or a roller shade. I am wanting to make sure I choose the right one. Thank you for your help.

Lou

Have you thought about installing exterior sun shades and or tinting along with new blinds. This would reduce heat before it got in, not trap it between window and shade on the inside.
