busch gardens area campground?
Well it appears we are taking that last trip for the summer with the family and they want to go down to busch gardens so I'm looking for a campground within 30 or 40 minutes of Busch Gardens. I really don't want a RV "Resort" with all the amenity's, just a campground to park the coach with plenty of room.

Hi FJGuard and Welcome! Are you heading down to the Busch Gardens in Virginia or Florida? I don't know a lot about the one in Virginia but do know a little about the one in Florida. I'm sure there are a few members on here whom know about a few good campgrounds. What size coach are you referring to and does it have slides. This may help narrow down more of what you need.

Hi,
If your referring to Florida try Fort Desoto it is a county campground about 40 to 45 minaway we stayed there last march and loved it you will need reservations. It is all freeway so it is not a bad drive. Have fun

I agree that Ft Desoto is a great Florida choice

We ended up staying here when we went for the Busch Gardens trip. Great way to end the summer.
