leaky valves on the tag brakes

encantotom Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: mesa, az Posts: 1,375	leaky valves on the tag brakes the picture below shows the valve that is leaking on my tag brakes. there is one on each side. it is a bendix 229505. so i will get a couple. not quite sure what they do. they have two functions. one is to give 50% reduced braking power to the wheel. the other is to release the air pressure faster than normal to release the brakes. anyone know for sure what newell uses them for? tom Attached Thumbnails __________________ 2002 45'8" Coach 2008 Honda CRV toad https://www.newellclassic.com/forum/album.php?albumid=8
