Wood Steering Wheel

hi all,

i have seen some classics with the wood covered steering wheels that are just incredible. i would love to have one. newell doesnt have them anymore. i am talking the larger diameter wheel. i have looked online, and i dont think any of the bolt patterns are the same, so wondering if any of you have one squirreled away somewhere.....

I also liked the wood look and went with an 18" from VIP. They mfgd the original 20" that was on my coach. The new wheel is from a Mack truck. The cross bar had the same perimeter profile as the original, but drill for a small hub. I machined the new to match the old wheel & it looks original.

I feel the 18" is much more comfortable & I don't have to wear my Ralph Kramden hat anymore

PS You are welcome to my old 20" wheel that possibly could be woodenized!
